Shielded cables

We want to offer something more.

In these years the distribution of shielded cables has been an important opportunity of growth for IPE, in line with our continuous improvement approach in terms of products and service; this policy, has enabled us to strengthen our relationships with our installers and electrician customers.

All cables are used during the installation of civil and industrial alarm systems, in compliance with applicable regulations. We manage a huge range ready on stock and we are ready in evaluating new requests from our users, in order to delivery “spot orders” and to go on with new introductions in our catalog.

Main features of shielded cables:

  • ISOLATION: based on PVC and classified according to the standard CEI 20-11 20-20 type TM2 for flexible antifire cables; all cables have passed all tests required in CEI 20-22 II and they are compliant with 2002/95 EC RoSH (without Pb);

  • SHIELDING: based on an aluminum/polyester tape, it’s applied respecting the standard CEI 46-5, in order to detect any defects during 100% test of the product.

Electrical tests:

  • ISOLATION LEVEL 300/300V (2nd Degree): cables with nominal section 0.50, 0.75, 1.00 and 1.50 mmq are periodically tested according to the standard: “5′ at 5000 V with cc, dry, without cracking on isolation”. Cables with nominal section 0.22 mmq (signal) are tested for 5′ at 1000 V; sheath is tested with 2000 V. All cables are labeled: “N.P.I.  C.E.I. 20-22 II”.

  • ISOLATION LEVEL 450/750V (3rd Degree): cables with nominal section 0.50, 0.75, 1.00 and 1.50 mmq are periodically tested according to the standard: “5′ at 6000 V with cc, dry, without cracking on isolation”. Cables with nominal section 0.22 mmq (signal) are tested for 5′ at 1500 V; sheath is tested with 3000 V. All cables are labeled:”N.P.I.  C.E.I. 20-22 II GRADO DI ISOLAMENTO 3″.

  • ISOLATION LEVEL 450/750V (4th Degree): cables with nominal section 0.50, 0.75, 1.00 and 1.50 mmq are periodically tested according to the standard: “5′ at 6000 V with cc, dry, without cracking on isolation”. Cables with nominal section 0.22 mmq (signal) are tested for 5′ at 2000 V; sheath is tested with 4000 V. All cables are labeled:”N.P.I.  C.E.I. 20-22 II GRADO DI ISOLAMENTO 4″.
